People with Dyspraxia and DCD have movements that appear awkward or clumsy; Poor stamina; Difficulty with handwriting affecting speed and style; Poor fine motor skills (using computer mouse or scissors) Difficulty dressing/undressing; and Difficulty judging speed and distance.
Dyspraxia and DCD create difficulties with organization and planning (handing in assignments, losing work, etc.); Poor short term memory (copying skills); Difficulty adapting and transitioning to new situations; Anxiety; Poor concentration and focus; Poor social skills (at risk for bullying and social isolation).
We are building a community of people who want to help spread awareness about Dyspraxia and DCD. We will work to help the people providing services connect with the people who need them. Come connect with people in new ways.
